Hello! My name is Jayne. I am the owner and operator of Chicago Road Antiques and this is my story. I started my career in retail at an early age. I had many businesses out by the road selling rocks and shells. Not much has changed. I am still selling things out by the road! I went to college and majored in business with a little art thrown in for fun. I had my first booth in the 1980's and sold many original painting projects. In 1992, I started my first antique booth with my darling mother. We cleaned out our cupboards to come up the our beginning inventory. I had a lot of fun in several antique malls for many years, but always yearned for my own store. In 2005, my favorite building in Edwardsburg, Michigan had a for sale sign in front. It was meant to be. I have been having a great time searching for treasure and creating charms, necklaces, cards and candles ever since.
